Deets: The Festival’s mission is to help filmmakers reach the broadest possible audience, enable the international film community and general public to experience the power of cinema and promote New York City as a major filmmaking center. Tribeca Film Festival is well known for being a diverse international film festival that supports emerging and established directors. The Festival has screened over 1400 films from over 80 countries since its first festival in 2002. Since its founding, it has attracted an international audience of more than 4 million attendees and has generated an estimated $750 million in economic activity for New York City.

4/24: Monty Python members John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin will celebrate the 40th anniversary screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and related events will include the international premiere of the doc, Monty Python –The Meaning of Live.

4/25: Goodfellas screening to clsoe out TFF will be followed by Q&A with cast & creators & Jon Stewart. 

The Tribeca Talks Series 2015 is chock-full of conversations between some of the industry’s most critically and commercially successful filmmakers, artists, and executives, including Christopher Nolan with Bennett Miller, George Lucas with Stephen Colbert, Cary Fukunaga with James Schamus, Brad Bird with Janeane Garofalo. Other notables participating in the Tribeca Talks program are Harvey Weinstein, Gus Van Sant, Courtney Love, Catherine Martin, and Christiane Amanpour.
