Deets: The Environmental Media Association (EMA) announced this year’s EMA Awards film and television nominees. For the first time in 30 years, and in response to the current pandemic, the annual EMA Awards will be presented virtually on a variety of online platforms — giving global access to the ceremony.
The live ceremony will be hosted by Activist, Entertainer and Co-Chair of the Executive EMA Board Lance Bass on Thursday, August 20th, 2020 at 5pm PST / 8pm EST. The program will livestream on both the EMA YouTube and Facebookpages as well as Artists United for Amazonia and several celebrity social accounts. Post the initial livestream, the entire ceremony will be uploaded on the EMA Instagram page.
Although different from the past, this year’s EMA Awards will continue the tradition of celebrating environmental messaging in the media. It honors brave storytellers across the film and television industry that champion environmental action and empower a green economy for all.
