amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, has announced the postponement of its upcoming fundraising gala in Hong Kong due to the continuing spread of the new coronavirus.
Deets: For the sixth year, amfAR returns to Hong Kong on Saturday, March 14, for the annual amfAR Gala Hong Kong. The black-tie event will include a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, and entertainment.
Previous honorees include entrepreneur Adrian Cheng, American artist KAWS, actress and amfAR Ambassador Michelle Yeoh, fashion designer and UNAIDS Ambassador Victoria Beckham, and leading Hong Kong businesswoman and philanthropist Pansy Ho. Charlize Theron, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Michelle Rodriguez are among the luminaries who have served as Event Chairs since the gala’s inception in 2015. Since then, amfAR Gala Hong Kong has raised more than US$14 million in support of the Foundation’s lifesaving research.
