Longines Conquest Classic
Deets: Swiss watchmaker Longines returned as the Official Partner and Timekeeper of the Hampton Classic Horse Show, which was held in Bridgehampton, New York from August 25 to September 1. Longines also named a model from the Longines New Conquest Classic collection the Official Watch of the Hampton Classic. The precision and elegance of this Swiss timepiece are qualities shared by the premier jumping riders who competed throughout the event.
Longines presented elegant watches to winners in ceremonies honoring their distinguished performances in the Longines Rider Challenge, the Longines Cup, and the Grand Prix. The $30,000 Longines Leading Rider Challenge prize was awarded to Ireland's Shane Sweetnam, who accumulated the most points in the Open Jumper classes to take the prize for his third time. His strong performance riding Kirschwasser SCF also helped Sweetnam claim victory in the $75,000 Longines Cup once again. Canada's Mario Deslauriers riding Bardolina took the Grand Prix prize, beating out his daughter Lucy Deslauriers to take the win.
Now in its 44th year, the Hampton Classic has become a fixture of the New York City social calendar, attended by more than 3,000 VIP guests, including high-profile celebrities and socialites, who sip, stroll, and spectate throughout the extravagant event while enjoying the exceptional display of horsemanship throughout the weekend’s biggest competitions at six different competition rings. Nearly 50,000 spectators attended the extravagant 2019 Hampton Classic event, presented with Official Partner and Timekeeper Longines.

The collection offers five different dials – sunray blue, sunray black, sunray silver, white mother-of-pearl or black mother-of-pearl – on which pink or rhodium-plated hands revolve. Pink indexes or diamonds complete the dial of this timepiece, while its steel bracelet lends it further finesse and refinement.
