Deets: The Napa Valley Film Festival showcases an outstanding presentation of independent filmmaking, while also building a strong sense of community around the art of visual storytelling. Film screenings and events are accompanied by the world-class food and wine of the stunning Napa Valley, fueling lively conversations among artists and audiences.

The directors of the Narrative and Documentary Features within NVFF’s core competition partake in a unique program presented in partnership with Meadowood Napa Valley. Filmmakers attend intimate networking events, as well as a workshop and panel series. Meadowood also sponsors twin $10,000 cash prizes awarded by the Jury for Best Narrative and Best Documentary Feature.

The directors of the films in NVFF’s core competition categories will also participate in the festival’s unique Artists-in-Residence Program presented by Meadowood Napa Valley. The residency includes masterclasses and breakout sessions with industry leaders, as well as networking opportunities at special events throughout the festival.

The complete program lineup of approximately 80 films, including Studio Spotlights, Verge, Culinary Cinema, Special Presentations, and Narrative and Documentary Shorts will be announced in early October.
