Our prayers are with all those affected by the LA Wildfires. We are working to compile a list of resources for residents & first responders. Please check back for updates. If you are looking to HELP please check the list at the bottom of this page.

    • Crisis Text Line: If you’re feeling overwhelmed or anxious due to the LA wildfire, you’re not alone. Text SHARE to 741741 for confidential support.

    • Planet Fitness: The fitness chain is offering evacuees and first responders free access to their facilities at over 75 locations, including showers, locker rooms, and WiFi. Offer is valid until Jan. 15 Contact your nearest Planet Fitness for more information.

    • LA Public Library: Free N95 masks are available at all LA Public Library Branches.

    • Luludew Delivery Service: Luludew is offering free deep cleaning for up to 100 lbs of clothes, sheets, and blankets, and will pick up your laundry as well.

    • Integrative Psychotherapy Group: Offering free short-term therapy services to some fire victims and referral assistance for others needing longer-term or more acute treatment during the upcoming weeks. IPG is offering a brief series of trauma-focused therapy sessions to help individuals, couples and families process the complex emotions that can arise in the immediate aftermath of wildfires and similar natural disasters.

    • Bath N’ Buns Mobile Pet Grooming: The locally-owned pet grooming service announced it will offer complimentary bath services for cats and dogs affected by the fires.

    • Vetster: The veterinary telehealth platform Vetster said it will be offering free telehealth appointments to pets impacted by the fires. Pet owners can visit vetster.com/support to get a free appointment. Offer will be available for up to 500 pet owners until Jan. 23.

  • Transportation

    • Uber: Residents in Los Angeles County who’ve been ordered to vacate their homes can get a credit from Uber to get to an evacuation site. The $40 will only be valid for trips to an active shelter and by using the code WILDFIRE25.

    • Lyft: Lyft announced it will be offering $25 vouchers, valid for two trips, to 500 customers from now until midnight on Jan. 15. Use the code CAFIRERELIEF25 to get the promotion.

    • LA Metro: The metro has suspended ride fees. Be sure to check on this before you board, as they are announcing this day by day.

HOW TO HELP

  • American Red Cross: Help people affected by the 2025 California Wildfires by visiting redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS (800-733-2767) or texting the word CAWILDFIRES to 90999 to make a donation. Your gift enables the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from these disasters.

  • Anderson Munger Family YMCA: The Anderson Munger Family YMCA in Los Angeles is seeking donations of food, snacks, water and essential and emergency supplies. The Y said on Instagram it is accepting deliveries at its Koreatown location.

  • Best Friends Animal Society: Best Friends Animal Society, which runs a pet adoption center in West Los Angeles, says all donations will be used for emergency assistance to animals impacted by the wildfires. 

  • California Fire Foundation: The California Fire Foundation said it is working with local fire departments and community organizations to support impacted residents financially. The group's wildfire and disaster relief fund directly supports victims of blazes and other disasters throughout the state, according to its website.

  • Direct Relief: The aid group Direct Relief is bringing in emergency health care supplies for community clinics, evacuation centers and local residents affected by the fires. It's also providing N95 masks, hygiene kits, emergency medical packs and other essentials to partner organizations on the ground in L.A.

  • Motherz Hands to Hearts: Sign up to donate items directly to families in need. They will facilitate the connection and send your matched family's details via email as soon as we have one secured. From there, you'll have the opportunity to directly assist by shipping a box of new essential items with a personal touch.

  • International Medical Corps: The Los Angeles-based International Medical Corps has been coordinating with local health groups to deliver relief supplies, including hygiene and first-aid kits, to communities affected by the fires. The group said it also is ready to provide additional support and services to health facilities if needed.

  • World Central Kitchen: World Central Kitchen, founded by chef José Andrés, said it has mobilized across Southern California, providing sandwiches and water throughout the region. The charity said its volunteer chefs are on standby to give out meals.

  • League of California Community Foundations: The League of California Community Foundations, a coalition of the state's nonprofits, is coordinating relief efforts for people affected by the Palisades and Eaton fires. The California Community Foundation said funds raised after previous disasters have helped rebuild homes, restore lost belongings and provide support services such as mental health management.

  • Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation: The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation has called for donations to its wildfire emergency fund. The proceeds will go toward equipping firefighters with tools and supplies to contain the infernos.

  • Los Angeles Regional Food Bank: The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is accepting food donations and volunteers.

BUSINESSES DONATING PROCEEDS TO ORGANIZATIONS HELPING WITH THE FIRES

  • Dive Bar: This bar in Sacramento that has live mermaids will host a fundraiser on January 17. From open to close, a portion of their proceeds will be donated to Convoy of Hope.

  • Neat Method: Now through January 31, 20% of online book sales will be donated to the American Red Cross.

  • Susie Cakes Bakery: Proceeds from the purchase of California Wildfires Support Cupcakes will be donated to various organizations on the frontlines of the fires.
