KA’TEEN and Chef Wes Avila are pleased to announce the debut of a brand-new service, T&T: Taqueria Tuesdays. Esteemed Chef Wes Avila, Founder of DTLA’s renowned Guerilla Tacos, is offering an exclusive line up of Alta California-inspired tacos that will only be available at KA’TEEN on Tuesdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Priced at $19 for a set of two, the highly inspired tacos will accommodate a variety of palates and are as follows:
Pork Belly Taco
slow braised, charred pomegranate salsa, habanero onions
Char Xiu Pork Taco
raw tomatillo salsa, furikake, chives
Baja Fish Taco
cabbage, chipotle crema, pico de gallo, burnt tomato chile, salsa macha cilantro, habanero mustard
Mom’s Taco
wild boar, raja chile, aged cheddar, pico de gallo, chipotle crema, avocado salsa, cilantro
Leek & Potatoes Taco
sweet potatoes, braised leeks, queso Oaxaca, goat cheese, pine nuts
The new tacos & tequila focused service officially kicks off on Tuesday, February 6th, and will also feature a $14 tableside margarita and $39 Mezcal flight (which will also be available during regular service throughout the week). T&T: Taqueria Tuesdays is yet another exciting addition to the ever-growing offering at KA’TEEN, which now includes a boozy disco Sunday brunch, featuring sounds by rotating DJs, as well as added fire pits for the winter months.
