Hello Average socialites!  Fusion is a contemporary concept that has made its way into the mainstream.  The concept is simple: chefs combine the dishes and ingredients of two or more cultures to create new, delicious dishes.  Below are several different fusion restaurants, each serving up something never before seen!

PerrySt
176 Perry St / Manhattan
This restaurant combines French, Asian, and American flavors into stunning and colorful dishes.  They even have a brunch for Saturdays and Sundays, so you can experience some unique dishes in the morning and evening.

Shalom Japan
310 S 4th St / Brooklyn
Authentic Jewish and Japanese ingredients create some of the most unique dishes served at this restaurant.  Where else could you find a Wagyu Pastrami Sando, or a Matzo Ball Ramen?  And after you’ve filled yourself up, indulge in a sweet potato cheesecake or the challah bread pudding!

FLAME BRONX
5740 Broadway Unit 5 / Bronx
Hibachi is a wonderful experience on its own, but combine that with dim sum and a variety of tapas dishes, it’s on a whole new level.  Snack on some crispy duck buns or indian roti, then watch in awe as a chef cooks up your chosen entree right in front of you.

Suyo
1401 Plaza Dr / Bronx
This restaurant takes things up a notch with its latin and asian inspired cuisine.  The restaurant has a few different areas, including multiple private halls, which are perfect for different types of events.

Miyabi II Asian Fusion
1348 Forest Ave / Staten Island
At this restaurant, flavors from Japan and Malaysia combine to make some killer dishes.  Sample some tom yum soup or hamachi kama, and afterwards, chow down on a variety of sushi rolls!  These dishes can be enjoyed in both the restaurant and in your home.

WANGS
671 Union Street / Brooklyn
Just like the name implies, chicken, or more specifically chicken wings is the pride and joy of this Brooklyn joint.  Where else can you have fried chicken with sides of mac n cheese and kimchi?

NOODLE BOX
43-15 Bell Blvd / Queens
Bringing the best of multiple asian cultures, this restaurant serves up amazing dishes from all different cultures.  Slurp up some noodle dishes from Japanese, Chinese, and Malaysian culture, and see which ones you like the best!

Buddha Bar
17 Little West 12th St / Manhattan
Famous for its pan asian style of cuisine, Buddha Bar has earned its spot on the map.  Most items here are served family style, which means one dish will be more than enough for the whole table.
