FELLOW BARBER'S "PAY WHAT YOU CAN" PROGRAM, NYC

Fellow Barber’s NEW “Pay What You Can” program” was inspired by the belief that everyone is entitled to a good haircut no matter how much they make.

Through this program New Yorkers can book with one of Fellow’s junior barbers at any of the 5 locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan and can pay anything they’re comfortable with – be it $0 or $100+. Note, this program initially debuted in November 2020 as “Pay What You Can Mondays” as a way to help those who had lost their job due to the pandemic and Fellow Barber is thrilled to announce the program is now available every day, any time, at all locations.  

While consumers benefit from this, so do the apprentices and junior barbers, as the program promises to help them hone in on their craft, obtain additional real-life experience, and work with a variety of hair types and cuts due to the popularity of this initiative. Note, regardless of the amount provided at Checkout, the barber still receives the appropriate commission. Giving new barbers a place to grow and learn is crucial for their development and Fellow Barber is dedicated to nurturing new talent.
