Visit Charlies on the Avenue in Del Ray for freshly smoked (and locally sourced) meats, delicious oysters, and a wide range of craft beers and cocktails. It's your classic beers, brats, and (foot)ball, but without the frozen pub food.
APPETIZERS
✨At Charlie’s, many of your typical sports-pub apps are made in a not-so-typical way! For example, after brining for 48 hours, their wings are dried out for 24 hours, rubbed with BBQ spice, smoked for 2 hours over hickory and oak, then fried and tossed with buffalo sauce. Over 3 days of preparation goes into every serving of their chicken wings before they hit their customers’ tables.

✨ Locally sourced from the Shenandoah Valley Beef Cooperative, their brisket is brined for a minimum of 5 days in a corned beef brine. Then, the brisket is dried out for 24 hours, rubbed with BBQ spice, then smoked for about 5 hours over red oak. The last step is ensuring the brisket is cooled completely before slicing and serving!
