Deets: The 14th Annual Hamptons Happening benefiting the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) will happen on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Taking place on the estate of Maria and Kenneth Fishel, The Hamptons Happening is one of the Hamptons’ most anticipated summer benefits and will once again feature tastings from some of the top chefs and restaurants in New York City and the Hamptons.

The event will be hosted by CBS 2 News anchor Chris Wragge and will honor Chef Matt Lambert, Executive Chef & Co-owner of The Musket Room, Michelin Star Recipient; Ramy Brook Sharp, Founder & Creative Director of Ramy Brook; and Joe Farrell, Founder & President of Farrell Building Company.

The Hamptons Happening is chaired by Event Co-Founder Marion N. Waxman, Sponsorship ChairKaren Amster-Young & Journal Chair Erica Linden-Fineberg. The Hamptons Happening committee members include Chris Arlotta, Ellen Antonucci, Jordan Brail, Maria Fishel, Barbara Lambert, Jessica Mackin, Laurie Schaffran, Jake Taub, and Erin Woudsma.

The Hamptons Happening is among the most eagerly awaited events of the Hamptons social calendar. Drawing on average 300 guests, the event will again feature silent and live auctions and will take place under a tent on the stunning 15-acre Bridgehampton property of Maria and Kenneth Fishel. The benefit is a scrumptious celebration of New York’s finest cuisine, personally presented by the top chefs of the most celebrated restaurants in New York City and the Hamptons. Guests indulge their appetites for the savory and the sweet, mix and mingle, bid on exciting auction items and dance to today’s hottest tunes, all the while collaborating to fund the quest for a cure for cancer. The event’s producer is Robin Lathrop ofByRobin and music is donated by Untouchable Events.
