Affair: NoRA Events Protest the NRA

Deets: On May 5th during the NRA Convention in Dallas, TX, over 500 gun safety activists and mass shooting survivors will come together with #NoRA to take a stand against the NRA’s influence in American politics and the deadly effects of the political influence it buys.
Following the rally, there will be a Victim Dedication, where attendees will be holding photos of their loved ones who have passed away due to gun violence to honor those we have lost and those who remain.
#NoRA (No Rifle Association) is a diverse, non-partisan coalition of activists, artist, celebrities, and policy experts dedicated to combating the NRA’s corruption within America’s government. Ten days ago they announced their intent to fight for gun control and combat the NRA’s toxic influence over our political system. They also released an open letter written to NRA President Wayne LaPierre that is signed by over 125 allies of this initiative including: Alyssa Milano, Alec Baldwin, Tarana Burke, Amy Schumer, Ashley Judd and Stoneman Douglas High School survivor David Hogg.

#NoRA is a diverse, non-partisan coalition of activists, artist, celebrities, and policy experts dedicated to combating the influence of the NRA in American politics. Formed in February 2018, it is the product of more than 100 activist partners and organizations.
