Deets: Cast members from “The Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead” will join fans to experience their 5 favorite post-apocalyptic world on the big screen as part of Fathom Events and AMC’s “Survival Sunday: The Walking Dead & Fear the Walking Dead,” a one-night fan event on April 15. Celebrating the highly-anticipated series crossover, “The Walking Dead” Season 8 finale and the “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4 premiere will be screened commercial-free in more than 750 select movie theaters nationwide.
About “The Walking Dead”
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, “The Walking Dead” reigns as television’s most watched drama for Adults 18-49. “The Walking Dead” tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse, and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The series is executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse.
About “Fear the Walking Dead”
In season four of “Fear the Walking Dead,” we will see the world of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family through new eyes -- the eyes of Morgan Jones (Lennie James), joining the story from the world of “The Walking Dead.” The characters’ immediate past mixes with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes and threats. They fight for each other, against each other and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart. There will be darkness and light; terror and grace; the heroic, mercenary, and craven, all crashing together towards a new reality for “Fear the Walking Dead.”
