Deets: Del Frisco's Grille is celebrating International Women's Day by bringing together innovative Westside women who are making a difference in the community. Local women are invited to join a networking-style mixer with an evening of pampering, appetizers by Chef Daniel Tiger, wine tastings from Prisoner Wine Company, manicures, massages and a raffle with gifts from local businesses including Philosophy and Pause Float Studio. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Westside Family Health Center's Reproductive Health Services Program.

About Westside Family Health Center
Westside Family Health Center (WFHC) began as a feminist women's clinic in 1974. Today, WFHC is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center that provides outstanding primary care services and health education to over 12,000 low-income and uninsured women, men and their families who live throughout Los Angeles County (from 239 zip codes). Currently, 50% of our patients are Latino/Hispanic, 73% are female, 93% are low-income and 49% are uninsured. WFHC recently embarked on a social media campaign, Advocacy in Action, to educate supporters, elected officials and the community on the need to preserve and protect the Affordable Care Act, especially as it impacts women's health care and the uninsured.
As one of five core programs, WFHC's Reproductive Health Services Program provides family planning and gynecological services including pregnancy tests, pap smears, mammograms, birth control methods, emergency contraception, sexually transmitted disease screening including one on one counseling and treatment, and anonymous and confidential HIV counseling and testing, as well as services for menopausal women.
