Deets: The Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge presented by TCMA returns to the atrium of Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center for its 10th Anniversary on Thursday, May 17.
This signature event brings together Embassy Chefs from around the world in a celebration of food, drink and cultural diplomacy. Attendees will have the chance to sample the unique flavors of all the chefs’ home countries and vote for their favorites throughout the night.
The 10th anniversary Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge presented by TCMA celebrates culinary diplomacy and provides a uniquely DC opportunity to taste authentic food & drinks from more than 45 embassy chefs representing all regions of the world. An array of international performances including musicians and dancers provide the entertainment throughout the evening. In no other city can you experience in a single evening the array of delicious, authentically-prepared global cuisine and diverse, live cultural performances. Cultural diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of the Challenge. Attendees must bring an empty stomach, open mind and prepared to take a journey around the world.
Come early, stay late! After visiting each regional pavilion to sample the sips and bites, be part of the excitement to see which chef wins the Judge’s Choice awards voted on by an esteemed panel of culinary experts. The People's Choice winner is selected by you, the attendee, which means you must sample every food and drink offering.
