Michael Tiedemann is the Chairman of the RIVER FUND Board of Directors and Founding Board Member. He has been the champion of the RIVER FUND since he started volunteering 12 years ago.
Working shoulder to shoulder with us, Mike has emerged as a leader, building the board and orchestrating our fundraising endeavors. By launching the Mary C. Tiedemann Scholarship Fund, in honor of his mother, Mike started the engine that propels students of merit through four years of college, empowering them to break their families’ painful multi-generational cycle of poverty.
Mike Tiedemann ‘takes poverty personally’ and commits himself deeply in service to humanity—to a degree that is exemplary to everyone connected to this organization.
