At this year’s much-anticipated event, you will have the opportunity to meet like-minded humanitarians and hear inspiring stories from refugees. Additional highlights include fun ways for you to advocate for refugees, delicious food and cocktails and a gorgeous view of New York City from Tribeca Rooftop. Proceeds will support the International Rescue Committee’s critical humanitarian work around the world.

GenR, short for Generation Rescue, is a group of young and influential humanitarians (under 40) who have joined forces with theInternational Rescue Committee to help people affected by crisis to survive and rebuild their lives. Through advocacy, networking and fundraising activities, GenR members engage and activate their communities in support of the International Rescue Committee’s work around the world.

The International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 26 U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities.
