Deets: The annual Summer Solstice brings together artists, art world patrons, politicians, and local luminaries to celebrate the season amidst Storm King’s picturesque landscape and world-class collection. This year, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, private tours of the grounds, and special viewings of the 2017 exhibitions, David Smith: The White Sculptures and Outlooks: Heather Hart, followed by a gourmet farm-to-table dinner in Storm KIng’s fields. Designed by Chef Jesse Schenker, executive chef and owner of The Gander, the regionally sourced menu will be inspired by the seasonal exhibitions. Dinner will be followed by dessert, dancing, and a live musical performance.

EXHIBITIONS ON VIEW
For the 2017 season, Storm King Art Center presents David Smith: The White Sculptures, the first exhibition to critically and fully consider the use of the color white within David Smith’s works; and Outlooks: Heather Hart, a site-specific outdoor installation.
