Deets: The event is a benefit for the David Lynch Foundation (DLF), a global charitable organization that addresses the epidemic of trauma and toxic stress amongst at-risk populations. The event is raising support for the Foundation’s mission of providing evidence-based Transcendental Meditation to veterans with post-traumatic stress, inner-city youth, and women who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Proceeds from the evening will be used to teach meditation to 10,000 at-risk youth and veterans in the greater Washington, DC area in partnership with veteran service organizations, public schools and after-school clubs, women’s centers, correctional institutions, homeless shelters, and THEARC (Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus).
