Deets: The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles will host its annual gala on Saturday, April 29, at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in honor of renowned artist, Jeff Koons. The 2017 gala is co-chaired by MOCA Trustees Lilly Tartikoff Karatz and Maurice Marciano.Guests will gather at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA for passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, along with a special viewing of Carl Andre: Sculpture As Place, 1958–2010; Arthur Jafa: Love Is The Message, The Message Is Death; and Selections from the Permanent Collection: Catherine Opie and Sterling Ruby. The night will continue with dinner provided by Wolfgang Puck in an adjacent tent built for the occasion and a special surprise post-dinner performance.
Last year’s gala honored Ed Ruscha and featured a performance by Robin Thicke.
