Deets: The Women's Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) will host an Unforgettable Evening, presented by Saks Fifth Avenue, in Beverly Hills on February 16, 2017 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. This annual event, with honorary chairs Rita Wilson & Tom Hanks and Kate Capshaw & Steven Spielberg, brings together the Hollywood and Los Angles community with leaders in the field of cancer research, united by WCRF's mission to support innovative research directed to the early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of women's cancers.
An Unforgettable Evening features powerful honorees, tributes to survivors and the memory of those impacted by cancer and performances by the biggest names in music.
This year's event will be hosted by the incredible Tig Notaro, actress, stand up comedienne and breast cancer survivor.
The Nat King Cole award will be presented to Judy and Leonard Lauder for their sterling philanthropic leadership in supporting women's global cancer research and education. The evening will also recognize Tom Ford with the Courage Award, which is presented to those who have shown an extraordinary commitment to the fight against cancer – often after either having been diagnosed with cancer themselves, or supporting their loved ones through their treatment.
