Deets: Just Weaves, the sister salon to LA’s first hair extensions bar Just Extensions, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony in Inglewood on October 22, 2016. Just Weaves is dedicated to premium weaving installations.
Through the success of Just Extensions over four years, founder Riqua Hailes realized the gap in services for an underserved clientele and set out to create a specialized salon for clients who solely request hair weave applications. Riqua’s innovation and creativity led her to Inglewood, CA. The thriving, remerging city is the perfect location to launch a dedicated concept salon and provides an opportunity to expand services.
Honorable Mayor Butts and Councilman Franklin 4th District were on hand to share some kind words of support and join in the ribbon cutting alongside Just Weaves Co- Owners Riqua Hailes, Lachelle Johnson, Joy Landrum, Shamica Simmons, and Tanika Durham. The event was MC’d by Yesi Ortiz, music provided by Power 106. Guest enjoyed treats provided by Yogurt Land, Icelandic Glacial Water, Runway Lashes, Girls with Gifts and Hung up.
