Lipstadt, whose real-life experiences inspired “Denial.” Lipstadt’s book of the same name recounts her court battle to prove the Holocaust actually occurred after British historian David Irving sued her for libel when she declared him a Holocaust denier. “Denial,” which opens September 30, is directed by Emmy Award® winner Mick Jackson, adapted for the screen by BAFTA and Academy Award® nominated writer David Hare and also stars Tom Wilkinson and Timothy Spall.
