Deets: The National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) 13th Annual Charity Auction Art and Soul: “Life as Art” embraces the philosophy that art heals, and when children and families participate in creating beauty, they feel valuable. Championing the event is recently signedRedskin Vernon Davis, an avid artist, philanthropist, and athlete. 

The evening will serve as homecoming for Vernon, who founded The Vernon Davis Foundation for the Arts (VDFA), which envisions communities where the arts are recognized as vital to social development and a positive alternative for youth dealing with stress and peer pressure. In working towards this shared vision, NCCF and VDFA partnered to elevate our most vulnerable youth in a new collaboration with The Duke Ellington School for the Arts through a peer-to-peer arts and performance mentorship.
