Deets: Donna Karan, Kelly Ripa and Gabby Karan de Felice, will host Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance’s (OCRFA) 19th annual Super Saturday NY. Super Saturday NY will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill, New York from 1:00PM – 6:00PM with a special preview hour beginning at noon.
Super Saturday NY is OCRFA’s day-long guilt-free charity shopping event, complete with a one-of-a-kind designer items, kids’ carnival and activities, a luxury raffle and gourmet treats. Once dubbed “the Rolls-Royce of garage sales” by The New York Times, the most anticipated element of Super Saturday is the fashion designer sale, featuring discounted merchandise from nearly 150 prominent participants including: DKNY, Ralph Lauren, VINCE., Bonpoint, Henri Bendel, MILLY, Shoshanna, Theory, alice + olivia, Brooks Brothers, Kiehl’s Since 1851, L’AGENCE, Calypso St. Barth and SoulCycle.
New to Super Saturday NY is the Lifestyle Marketplace curated by Donna Karan and Gabby Karan de Felice. Visit this booth for unique finds including clothing, accessories and home goods.
For the first time at Super Saturday NY, Suite 1521, an exclusive luxury fashion destination on Manhattan's Upper East Side, will have a booth selling ready-to-wear and accessories from some of their favorite brands including ADEAM, Edie Parker, Les Petits Joueurs, Markus Lupfer, Natasha Zinko, Preen, Rialto Jean Project, The Good Practice and Tim Ryan.
For the ninth consecutive year, the “Designers From A to Zoe” booth curated by Rachel Zoe will feature a compilation of pieces from her favorite luxury designers including Erin Fetherston, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Rachel Zoe Collection, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney Kids and Temperley London.
In addition to shopping luxury brands at deep discounts for a great cause, OCRFA’s Super Saturday NY attendees will enjoy an afternoon of activities and indulgences. Guests will have the opportunity to make on-trend flower crowns with B Floral and take a break in Brancott Estate’s Flight Song wine bar and hair salon. Attendees can also enjoy psychic readings with Betsy Wahmann.
There will also be an on-site luxury raffle with prizes from designers including Charlotte Olympia, Manolo Blahnik, Lorraine Schwartz, Gucci, Coach, POLOGEORGIS Furs, Barneys New York and Seaman Schepps and experiences donated by RIPPED Fitness, F-Factor, the New York Football Giants, 27 Hampton Salon, Fred Marcus Photography and Kidville, among others.
Additionally, OCRFA’s Super Saturday Online Auction begins Tuesday, July 19th with amazing one-of-a-kind VIP experiences, priceless set visits and luxury packages from prominent brands. Bidding will take place at charitybuzz.com/supersaturday.
For children at OCRFA’s Super Saturday NY, there will be rides, games and arts & crafts galore. Returning to Super Saturday, Camp Divalysscious will give kids the chance to tap into their inner designer by decorating their own tote bags and hats, in addition to cupcakes and cookies with Cakes Jagla. Kids can also enjoy special performances and activities from Wendy The Pipe Cleaner Lady, Bella Face Painting, glitter tattoos, balloon artistry, caricatures and a puppet show from The Izzy and Ooli Show. Kids can also visit Space East to play the hottest video games available on the planet in the arcade mecca.
The day will also include a buffet lunch and tray-passed service from FIJI Water, as well as snacks and refreshments provided by Bai, Kenwood Vineyards & Mumm Napa, Honeydrop, Hampton Coffee Company Espresso Bars & Café, Titan Tea, Ruby Rockets, Mamma Chia, Sant Ambroeus, popchips, SkinnyPop Popcorn and William Greenberg Desserts, among others.
OCRFA’s Super Saturday NY was created in 1998 by Donna Karan and the late Liz Tilberis, beloved Editor-In-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar and President of Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF). Donna Karan has sponsored and hosted the event since its founding, and Kelly Ripa has been a co-host since 2004. In 2016, OCRF merged with Ovarian Cancer National Alliance to become OCRFA, the voice for ovarian cancer.
In 2015, OCRF’s Super Saturday NY and “QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE” raised over $3.4 million for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
