The Women in the World Summit brings together women leaders, activists, artists, CEOs, peacemakers, entrepreneurs, trailblazers, and firebrand dissidents from around the world who have saved or enriched lives and shattered glass ceilings in every sector. The first Summit was launched in New York City in 2010 and has since expanded to London and New Delhi, with smaller salons across the United States in Chicago, Los Angeles, Texas, San Francisco and Washington, DC.

"With the world in turmoil the need for women's voices and perspectives has never been more important. For the seventh year, women on the front lines of news will convene in New York to set the agenda for progress and change in the year ahead,” said Tina Brown, CEO and Founder of Women in the World.
