Deets: RH, Restoration Hardware (Restoration Hardware Holdings, Inc.—NYSE: RH) and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) celebrated the West Coast debut of Rain Room – the acclaimed immersive installation by artist collective Random International – with an exclusive VIP preview at the museum on Wednesday, October 28. The exhibition was opened to the public on Sunday, November 1 and ran through March 6, 2016. Rain Room will close, as previously announced, on Sunday, April 24, for conservation efforts. However, it will reopen on Thursday, May 19, with tickets available through Tuesday, July 12. Additional blocks of tickets will be announced soon.
RH Contemporary Art acquired the first edition of Rain Room by Random International. After Rain Room’s overwhelming U.S. debut at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) for EXPO 1: New York from mid-May through July 2013, RH Contemporary Art is now loaning the visionary artwork to LACMA.
