Deets: The Maestro Cares Foundation has announced its Third Annual “Changing Lives, Building Dreams” Gala, set to take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. At the black tie dinner, hosted by the Bravo networks’ “Million Dollar Listing” star Luis Ortiz, co-founders Marc Anthony and Henry Cárdenas will honor individuals that have made significant contributions to the well-being of children and are actively involved with other charitable causes worldwide.
President Bill Clinton – Founder of Clinton Foundation and 42nd President of the United States, will be receiving the Global Humanitarian Award.
F.J. Pollak, President and CEO of TracFone Wireless, will be receiving the Award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility.
Additional honorees to be announced.The Changing Lives, Building Dreams Gala is a unique and high profile event that will feature an exciting line up of cultural performances and cuisine, a silent and live auction, and a special musical performance by Maestro Cares Foundation Co-Founder and global music icon Marc Anthony.
The Maestro Cares Foundation was launched in January 2012 by international pop icon Marc Anthony and entrepreneur Henry Cárdenas to assist disadvantaged children throughout Latin America by creating healthy and safe environments for them to live, learn and play. Maestro Cares works to achieve this mission by providing housing, classrooms, health clinics, dining and recreational activities. Our programs create tomorrow’s leaders by instilling the confidence, enthusiasm and discipline necessary for these children to become hard-working, socially conscious adults that make a positive impact in the world through their own unique contributions.
