Deets: On January 12, 2016, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF will host its sixth biennial UNICEF Ball in Los Angeles to celebrate UNICEF’s work and pay tribute to two outstanding humanitarians for their philanthropic commitments. This year, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and soccer star David Beckham will be honored with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Leadership Award and President of the University of Southern California C. L. Max Nikias will be honored with the Spirit of Compassion Award for their ongoing commitment to put children first.

The UNICEF Ball is one of the most notable black-tie galas in Los Angeles, bringing together over 700 philanthropists, celebrities, and community leaders to support UNICEF’s mission of putting children first. UNICEF has saved more children's lives than any other humanitarian organization. The evening is a celebration of UNICEF’s work, as well as a tribute to the outstanding humanitarians who make our work possible. Since its debut in 2005, the gala has raised over $7 million for UNICEF’s lifesaving programs for children around the world. For more information, visit www.unicefball.org.
