Beginning his career as an actor, John Bright founded Cosprop in 1965 and over the past 50 years established himself as a leader in costume design. His work on Sense and Sensibility, Howard’s End and The Remains of the Day earned him BAFTA and Academy Award nominations, and he won both awards for his costume design on A Room with a View (see right for screening). Bright joins us to discuss his career and launch our weekend of films and events dedicated to costume drama.
