Deets: On Sunday, October 11, 2015 the Children’s Museum of the East End (CMEE) will host a free community event to celebrate their 10th birthday. The birthday party will take place at the museum from 10:00am – noon and is open to children of all ages and their families. The day will feature rockets, lava lamps, mini golf, drip painting, games, songs, food, fun, and a few special birthday surprises. The Museum will also unveil their new donor wall during the event.
CMEE first opened its doors over Columbus Day Weekend in 2005, and is celebrating a decade of providing children and their families with a fun and safe environment to learn and explore on the East End. During this time the Museum has also become a vital resource for underserved members of the community, creating literacy programs for Spanish speaking families, providing free access to EBT cardholders, and partnering with countless other non-profit groups with similar missions.
