On August 4 at 11:15 AM the cast of “The Fantastic Four”—actors Michael B. Jordan,Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell—will stop by the Wall Street Journal’s WSJ Café on to talk about the highly-anticipated superhero movie with Journal senior editor Christopher John Farley.

The coming movie “Fantastic Four” is a new take on Marvel’s first superhero team in which a quartet of young adventurers acquire superpowers from an alternate universe and must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save the world from a dangerous super-villain.

ABOUT THE GUESTS

Michael B. Jordan plays Johnny Storm a.k.a. “The Human Torch” in “Fantastic Four.” Jordan has been featured in such acclaimed TV shows as “The Wire,” “Friday Night Lights,” and “Parenthood.” His movies include “Chronicle,” “Fruitvale Station,” and the coming “Creed.”

Miles Teller co-stars in “Fantastic Four” as Reed Richards, a scientific prodigy who is transformed into the elastic superhero “Mr. Fantastic.” Teller won widespread acclaim for his role in the Oscar-winning movie “Whiplash,” and has also co-starred in such movies as “Divergent” and “The Spectacular Now.”

Kate Mara plays Sue Storm, who becomes “The Invisible Woman” in “Fantastic Four.” Mara has appeared in “24,” “American Horror Story: Murder House” and the Netflix drama “House of Cards,” which earned her an Emmy nomination. Later this year, she’s set to co-star with Matt Damon in the coming sci-fi film “The Martian.”

Jamie Bell appears in “Fantastic Four” as Ben Grimm, who mutates into “The Thing.” Bell won a BAFTA Award for his lead role in the 2000 film “Billy Elliot.” He’s gone on to appear in such movies as “King Kong” and he provided the voice for the title role in the animated movie “The Adventures of Tintin.”

Christopher John Farley is a Wall Street Journal senior editor and the founder and host of the arts and culture video series called WSJ Café. He helped produce the HBO documentary “Mr. Dynamite: The Rise of James Brown.” He’s the author of “Game World,” a fantasy adventure novel for younger readers.
