The Angel Ball boasts attendees in the fields of business, philanthropy, and society alike at this annual celebration of life, music and the quest for a cure. Their signature fundraising event returned to Cipriani Wall Street on Monday, October 20, 2014 to raise $3.7M for cancer research. Celebrity attendees included Sophia Vergara, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Tina Knowles, Kris Jenner, Busta Rhymes, Swizz Beatz, Star Jones, Bethenny Frankel, Niki & Paris Hilton and more! Known for its amazing live entertainment, the show featured surprise musical guests Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx and Ludacris. Avery Wilson opened the show with a beautiful ballad and music legend Nile Rodgers and Chic got the crowd on the floor with one hit song after another. Honorees included Jho Low, Chief Executive Officer of Jynwel Capital Limited and Director of the Jynwel Charitable Foundation Limited; Four-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion and Founder of the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation, Jeff Gordon and His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Mrs. Abeer Al Otaiba and multi-Grammy Award-winning music legend Nile Rodgers. Board Member and celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz served as Gala Chair and Sponsors included United Airlines, Emilio Pucci, CHAMPAGNE TAITTINGER, Haute Living and Voss Water.

The mission of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research is to encourage the development of more effective therapies for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and related cancers. The Foundation funds innovative clinical or basic science research that will lead to novel therapeutic approaches that could replace, or be used in combination with existing effective therapies. Such therapeutic approaches could include alternative or complementary medicine.

The Foundation funds research to improve the efficacy of cancer treatments, reduce their toxicity and improve the quality of life of patients with leukemia or lymphoma.

The Foundation also supports limited scientific interchange between select leaders in different areas of bio and integrative medical research, to develop unique and important collaborative efforts that will lead to improvements in the treatment and care of patients with leukemia and lymphoma.

A "Thank You" Cocktail party at TAO Downtown was hosted by Denise Rich on November 30, 2015 for all the Angel Ball supporters.
