Deets: On Tuesday, May 12, 2015, Michael Kors and The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center will host the 8th Annual Spring Ball at The Pierre Hotel. The Spring Ball is The Society’s most magnificent event of the year, and more than 400 guests are expected to attend this glittering evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing. The 8th Annual Spring Ball is Co-Chaired by Judy Gordon Cox, Kamie Lightburn, and Elizabeth Gosnell Miller, and is generously sponsored by Michael Kors. The Spring Ball initiative will raise funds for The Society Research Grants Program, which provides funding for early stage research by Memorial Sloan Kettering’s post-doctoral, pre-tenure researchers at the start of their careers at MSK. Over the past eight years alone, The Society has funded 54 grants by MSK investigators whose research has led to breakthroughs in cancer prevention, detection and treatment that have been recognized by the world’s leading scientific and medical journals.
