At the centennial of Billie Holiday’s birth, we celebrate a jazz singer of monumental innovation. Vocalists Andy Bey, Molly Johnson and Sarah Elizabeth Charles will perform such personalized repertoire as “Don’t Explain,” “You Go To My Head,” and “Strange Fruit.” Joining Bey, Johnson, and Charles are music director and pianist Peter Martin, drummer Ulysses Owens, bassist Robert Hurst, and saxophonist Melissa Aldana.
