Deets: The Channel 4 Comedy Gala is an annual comedy extravaganza which takes place in the O2 Arena, London each year. First taking place in 2010, it sees some of the nation's favourite comedians entertaining the crowds in aid of the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
Each year the Gala has increased in profile and size following four years of success, and sees names like Jason Byrne, Jason Manford, Jo Brand, John Bishop, and Lee Evans performing.
2015 is set to feature Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, Jack Dee, Aisling Bea, Jason Byrne, Jon Richardson, Josh Widdicombe, Katherine Ryan, Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre, Paul Chowdhry, Rich Hall, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Sara Pascoe, Sean Lock, Seann Walsh, Shappi Khorsandi, Warwick Davis
The past five Comedy Gala’s have seen the nation’s favourite comedians and TV presenters show their support by taking to the stage to perform at the O2.
Each comedy extravaganza featured a world class collection of stars all giving up their time to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and have so far raised an impressive £3.6 million over the past five years.
