HIRSHORN MUSEUM & SCULPTURE GARDEN
Hirshorn to to close March 14 until further notice

THE JOHN. F. KENNEDY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
All public performances and events scheduled at the Kennedy Center through March 31 will be canceled effective Friday, March 13.
Until further notice, the Kennedy Center campus and its facilities will be closed to visitors, however, administrative staff will be on hand to continue basic business operations.
The restaurant, café, and other food service will also be closed due to canceled performances.
Kennedy Center programmers are exploring options for rescheduling artists and productions for a future date where possible.
NATIONAL CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL
Signature Festival events affected include:
The Pink Tie Party presented by ANA and hosted by TCMA (a Drew company), is postponed. We are assessing possible ways to reschedule.
The Opening Ceremony co-presented by the Japan Foundation is canceled.
The Blossom Kite Festival, presented by Otsuka American Pharmaceutical, Inc. is canceled.
The Tidal Basin Welcome Area presented with the National Park Service and ANA Stage is canceled.
The 2020 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® presented by Events DC is canceled.
Petalpalooza® presented by Chase is canceled.
In addition, the following Premiere events are postponed:
The Japan America Society’s Sakura Matsuri – Japanese Street Festival; future date to be determined.
The Anacostia River Festival, produced by the 11th Street Bridge Park and National Park Service, is postponed until Sunday, August 9, 2020.
NATIONAL GALLERY ART
The National Gallery of Art, Washington, announces a temporary closure beginning Saturday, March 14, with a tentative reopening date of Saturday, April 4, 2020.
NATIONAL MUSEUM OF WOMEN IN THE ARTS
The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) will temporarily close due to the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) starting on Saturday, March 14 through Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Due to the developing nature of the situation, NMWA will continue to reassess its plans as needed.
THE PHILLIPS COLLECTION
The Phillips Collection will be closed to the public starting Saturday, March 14
SMITHSONIAN MUSEUMS (ALL)
All Smithsonian museums including the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery and the National Zoo in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and in New York City, will temporarily close to the public starting Saturday, March 14
